We asked you for your ideas on actions that would encourage people to cycle more often and what should be included in a Cycling Action Plan for Scotland (CAPS).
Consultation on the Cycling Action Plan For Scotland

Some of the key consultation events held to develop the Cycling Action Plan for Scotland were:
Public Roadshow Events (now complete):
- Thu 4th September, Buchanan Galleries, Glasgow View event photos
- Sat 6th September, St Nicholas Centre, Aberdeen View event photos
- Thu 11th September, Eastgate Centre, Inverness View event photos
- Sat 13th September St James Centre, Edinburgh View event photos
As well as taking the time to fill out thousands of surveys, the public had the chance to meet the CAPS team at our four Roadshow events and were entertained by our team of stunt bike Riderz, grabbed goodies, won prizes and left video messages in our Big Brother-style diary booth. For those who had a bit more to say, there was the opportunity to Meet The Board at a series of workshops.
Stakeholder Conference
Stakeholders got their chance to develop CAPS further when the views of the public were considered at our Stakeholder Engagement Conference on Tuesday 7th October at Perth Concert Hall.
